I had a lovely stay at River Rooms, which is ideally located for anyone attending a football game at the City Ground. The staff was friendly, and my room was clean and well-equipped, though the bed could have been more comfortable. It's great for a short visit, especially if you're there for sports, but there are a few areas that could use some improvement, like the decor and furniture quality.

I stayed for three nights and had a warm welcome from Alex, which set a nice tone. My room was spacious and clean, and the communal kitchen was tidy and well-equipped. However, being at the side of the building meant a bit of noise from the nightlife. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re near Trent Bridge and other attractions, but there are definitely some areas that need improvement.
